Asha unofficially began in 2004 with a small group of like
minded people who felt the need to do something about the
hardships suffered by a great majority of South Africans. Asha is dedicated to serving the needs of
the orphaned, abandoned and homeless. We work to provide for the needs of orphanages and homeless centers.
In 2004 with the Aid of various big hearted companies and
individuals, we were able to start our first feeding scheme at
the Ebenezer Care Centre. Asha has since been successful in creating multiple
programs for the needy, ranging from providing annual food
hampers for the old aged and destitute to regular childrens
fun days for the orphaned.
In 2008 Asha was officially registered
with the department of
social development as a non profit organisation.
